eh, this school is okay, I kinda recommend it only if you wanna not get bullied and make some easy friends. There is the one major problem I have with the school. The fact that 40% of the school's population is from crow's nest which is home of ferals and people who consume cocaine which is probably 75% chalk anyways. But in all seriousness, the school isn't that bad the teachers, well some of them, are highly disrespected because they are stupid I wont say names but they know who they are. Then there are alot of actually cool teachers that actually want to teach. I wont say names but there are some teachers in the school that actually want to know the students and get to know them better. Take notes, boring teachers. Get to know the kids, talk to them be real down to earth with them. You will actually have students that are excited to go into class. Have I made my point or what?

This is a good school, despite the negativity of most reviews. While some of the students and teachers could be better in their actions and behaviour, you will find that there is a great community throughout the school with great bonds and healthy fun.

I am speaking from personal experience here, and what I can say is that most students can get away with anything e.g. swearing, bullying, harassment, etc. If you look under your desk you can almost always find some chewed up gum, once I saw a piece of gum that looked like it was there for months. The students that were in my class were making fun of me for heaving mild autism and none of the teachers knew what they were doing!P.S. My review was removed from this school (I assume by the staff that work here) and that is so scummy I can't even express my anger right now, but by editing this review the block is automatically removed and the review is visible again so read up while you can, probably a few days before it is manually removed again!

I wouldn't describe this as a school. This is a prison. All the teachers (Except for Ginger Dale) are bad and the lessons are like torture. Even the principle left the school it is so bad. This is like 911 on crack. DO NOT RECOMEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#THIS.IS.NOT.THE.SCHOOL.FOR.YOU

I was a student at hssc for 3 years before my parents finally had enough and took me out. Since going to the school my grades have dropped rapidly, my mental health got a lot worse and I was bullied a number of times. Even though I was missing school so much they did not care or try to understand the issues I was going through. My mum and the deputy principal got in a few arguments as they didnt understand that the school was causing me great distress. The times I was bullied the school did nothing to help or sort out the issue. One time my friends and I went and talked to the deputy principal about some of the issues and they blamed it on us. Also it wasnt just some students that were bullying me but also some teachers. They would lock my things in the class room or just personally pick on me, to the point I felt attacked. My family and I know so many parents and students that are having issues with this school. Most of them are in the process of taking their children out and reporting the school to the department of education. I know that there has been at least 5 reports to the department of education and yet nothing has been done.If you want you child to go to a school that only cares about what they are wearing, then this is the perfect school. They care more about the type of sock youre wearing more then your education or health (both mental and physical). I will never forget being yelled at by the principal on the first day of school last year for having a hair tie around my wrist. And I wasnt even in school grounds yet. I would never recommend this school to anyone. Please for the health of your children dont enroll them in this school. There are so many schools that will actually support and help your child but this is not one of them.
