As a general rule I have enjoyed having breakfast at Highfields McDonald's. However, in recent times I must say I am worried about my health just being in the building. The floor would appear to have been mopped with a very dirty mop and a soup mixture for water. The tables are dirty, the chairs require one to wipe/wash your hands after moving the chair to sit down. A visit to the bathroom is like visiting a Third World country. To be fair to the staff, it is management that is letting this restaurant down. Get in some contract cleaners and let the food staff do their jobs.
I saw a customer with an intellectual disability being taken to the self serve by a staff member, where the customer was shown how to operate the system and then left to his own devices, before completion of the order. I noticed that the customer was clearly struggling with the payment procedure to complete the order, as he was looking around for assistance, he asked me (just another customer) to help him with the eftpos payment procedure, which I helped him with.Later on I did ask that staff member if she had been aware of the condition of the customer, the answer was affirmative.McDonald's has made a wrong move by reducing the number of staff operated stations at the counter while trying to force customers to use the self serve system.There are a lot of customers who rather don't or can't use this technology.

Rude untrained staff, never ever have almond milk when there is literally a Woolworths 2 mins away. Staff more interested in how they look or what they are up to on the weekend then serving customers. Toilets are disgraceful. Very unclean.
This McDonalds Restaurant in Highfields is consistently a 5 x star rating for lack of service. Can never get the order correct....ever. How hard is it really? Owners need to start reading the reviews. Hopeless.
